Why “2 Worlds Collide”?
While Christians live in this world, they live for the next. These two worlds always intersect and often collide, hence the title, “Two Worlds Collide.”

Plus, he is one of the greatest friends anyone could ever have and that’s not just some slooge. That cag is the truth!
Plus, what self-discipline, being able to limit himself to only 7 top movies … very impressive.
Thought I might be able to do a little bit more with Word Press. The clincher was being able to upload all of the posts from Blogger.
Not sure if that is self-discipline as much as laziness. ; )
Gunny:
Dude, you da man! Love you, bro! I treasure our friendship.
For whatever it is worth, I found this blog (more than likely, God brought me to it) and have added it to my blog’s links. I am enjoying reading it and will continue to visit in the future.
Also for whatever it is worth, I am also Scottish (a descendent of clan McLeod {e.g. – “loud McLeod”}) and my mother’s maiden name is Armstrong. Small world, ain’t it?
Oh, an it’s obvious you have good taste in authors…anyone who likes Louis L’Amour definitely knows quality.
Carl:
Welcome, friend. Good to have a McLeod on board (especially one who reads Louis L’Amour)!!!
Hey James,
You da man. I love you and thank you for leading me into Reformed Theology (aka The Dark Side).
Peace,
Kory
Kory:
Love you, bro!

By any chance did you go to SWBTS & attend Southcliff Baptist?
Dee:
Hello! Yes. I remember you. Sharon and I are still in Texas. Hope all is well with you.
James,
Saw a reference to your blog on another blog I read & recognized your name.
We live in Florida my husband is working on his PhD at U of Florida. Thankfully, he is now ABD.

Dee:
Sharon will be happy to hear of the PhD study at UF. Go Gators!
Did Sharon go to UF?
Glad to see someone else is aware of the greatness of the San Antonio Spurs. GO SPURS GO. Although I don’t watch them anymore, even know who the players are, whether or not it’s basketball season right now, etc. I just know the Spurs are good stuff. That’s all I have to say about that.
Dee:
Yes. Go Gators!
Brandi:
GO SPURS GO!
James, what year did you graduate from SWBTS?
MDiv – ‘98
>MDiv – ‘98
Ah, man, you look older (I mean maturer) than that in your picture. I finished there in ‘79 . . . my picture would look really “maturer”.
I’m an “old man,” umm, maturer. 40.
Hope you and your family are doing well. I was a member at SFBC when you were our Pastor.
Ramona:
I hope you are doing well, also. Please drop me an e-mail, if you so wish, at rev_galyon@hotmail.com. Please let us know how you are doing.
Pastor James
Nice to meet ya, I am Irish born. I am a bit older at 58, I have had to retire from ministry official (two major back surgeries). I can still get up and about, just have to take things slower. I hurt my back on a paracute jump..Royal Marines years ago. But somehow I manage to stay ‘lean and mean’ as your American Marines say! lol (5′11, 150lbs). An Irish gene thing I guess? Me father is still alive at 87…a WW II vet. And I am also a combat vet. I have a D. Phil. and Th. D. for whatever that is worth. I try to stay close and near the biblical text. I am a Greek student and a perpetual student really. But exegesis is my desire. I am as I said, low church, and conservative. I was raised Roman Catholic, and later had some time as a monastic…Benedictine. So I have some respect for certain interior and spiritual Christian realities. But I am solidly reformational but seek a certain biblical discipline always. Thus as much as I may like theology, it must be tempered by the Scripture itself. Whew..sorry I got a bit wordy there.
Robert Kelly Darby
PS Oh yes, I have had a classic evangelical conversion years ago. And somehow I managed to be given two son’s of my own…18 and 11, both born in me 40’s. Thanks be to God!
Hello Again,
Well since I wrote those lines, I have gone back into the Anglican ministry, since about 3 monrhs after I wrrote those lines. My back is stable right now. But my father and mother both passed.
I have been having a time of it with some Orthodox Christians on the Atonement, they don’t believe in the reality of God’s wrath. Thus I pulled up your blog. I have been using some of the ideas and thought of P.T. Forsyth also. He is very profound, and solid on the Atonement.
Well best of blessing to you my brother.
Fr. Robert (ax. bishop)
Fr Robert+:
I’m sorry to hear of both your parents passing. My condolences to you. Glad to hear your back has stabilized. Also glad to hear you’ve been able to use some of the materials here @ 2WC.
Blessings to you as well!
Darth Galyon – I love it!!!!
Greetings from an old friend & rabblerouser from the Fellowship @ SWBTS. Ahhh, those were good times my friend!!
Are ya’ll still in the Metroplex?
Wade Dennis
Wade, my friend, I’m so glad you dropped by 2WC! I’ll never forget going to the conference together, nor some of the experiences we shared at SWBTS. Hope you and your family are doing well. Hope you will come back and “visit” often!
James
Dear James: Louis L’Amour was one of my favorite western authors until he did the unpardonable thing of dying the very weekend when I found out that my great grandfather, “Jenks” Willingham had been a cowboy (went up & down the Chisum trail 5-6 times & even worked for Jesse James on a ranch in New Mexico) and was a fast gun. Jenks use to go to Tascosa to visit Cape, the Marshall there. They were related. L’Amour mentioned Cape several times, and I wanted to find out whether he had come across Jenks. Such appreciation for all of my years of reading his novels. Jenks lived until 1949. If I had known he was alive I would have run off and gone 600 miles to see him as at the age of 8 I was in to cowboy movies. O misery.Life is down right hilarious at times! And they say God doesn’t have a sense of humor. Just consider his use of dogs with the woman of Sidon.
Hey, Mr. Galyon!
I happened upon this website purely by chance! Amazing! I really love reading this. Very encouraging! Spread the Word of Jesus Christ, brother!
Great Blog. Care to swap blog link with a Paedobaptist brother?
